Returning To The Classic App's Settings

For security purposes, getting back to your settings isn't obvious

Once your booth is launched into Booth Mode, there’s no visible in-app button to return to settings.

This is by design — Booth Mode works hand-in-hand with Guided Access to prevent guests from accessing app settings or other areas of your iPad.

Returning from Test Mode

If you’re in Test Mode, returning to your settings is quick and easy.

  • When launching your preset, choose “Test” instead of “Launch”

  • After launching, you’ll see a “Return to Settings” button on the “Tap to Start” screen

This is ideal while you’re still tweaking or reviewing your setup.

Returning from Booth Mode

If you’ve already launched into Booth Mode and need to make changes, there are two ways to return to your settings:

Option 1: Use Mission Control

  1. While the app is resting on the start screen, place two fingers side-by-side on the screen

  2. Slowly pinch out — slide your fingers in opposite directions

  3. This will open Mission Control, a status screen with helpful info

  4. Tap the left-side button to return to your settings

📍 This gesture is intentionally subtle to prevent accidental access—but we strongly recommend setting an iPad passcode or Face ID for extra protection.

Option 2: Quit The App

  1. Disable Guided Access, if it’s still active

  2. Force quit the Classic app (swipe up from the app switcher)

  3. Find the Classic app on your iPad and reopen it

  4. You’ll return to your preset list and can adjust your settings before launching again
