Overcoming common problems

Most browsers will automatically ask whether or not you would like to grant us permission, so this should be easy!

If you end up having trouble, most problems can be resolved from your phone and/or browser settings.

Switch Devices

In certain circumstances, simply using a different device is easiest. When you open the booth for the first time, you'll see an option to switch devices by scanning a QR code.

Safari

Camera permission settings can be found within your iPhone's settings app. Open settings, and scroll to the Safari section.

From the Safari settings, scroll and find the Camera section. Tap to open and ensure that either "ask" or "allow" is selected.

Chrome & Firefox (iOS)

Chrome & Firefox do not allow direct access to the camera on iOS, and if you have not used your camera in these browsers before, you will not find any camera settings within your device's settings app (the option only appears after you have used your camera on Chrome or Firefox at least once).

Visit your virtual event link and tap the "choose image" button. This will prompt you to either take a photo or upload an existing image from your Camera Roll.
