Safari

Camera permission settings can be found within your iPhone's settings app. Open settings, and scroll to the Safari section.

From the Safari settings, scroll and find the Camera section. Tap to open and ensure that either "ask" or "allow" is selected.

Chrome & Firefox (iOS)

Chrome & Firefox do not allow direct access to the camera on iOS, and if you have not used your camera in these browsers before, you will not find any camera settings within your device's settings app (the option only appears after you have used your camera on Chrome or Firefox at least once).

Visit your virtual event link and tap the "choose image" button. This will prompt you to either take a photo or upload an existing image from your Camera Roll.

If the camera is still not working properly...

  • Find Chrome troubleshooting help here.
  • After granting camera permissions to Firefox at least once, you'll find camera settings within your iPad settings app, (Settings > Firefox).

Chrome & Firefox (Android)

Chrome & Firefox will allow direct access to the camera on Android.

Visit your virtual event link and you will be prompted to enable camera access.

If the camera is still not working properly or you accidentally denied access...
