HALO has two versions with different setup experiences. This guide helps you find the right documentation for the version you're running.
How to tell which version you have
HALO 5.0 runs on iPads updated to iOS 26.1 or later. If your iPad can't update to iOS 26.1, you're running HALO 4.x.
To check your iPad's software version, open the Settings app, tap General, then tap About, and look at Software Version.
If you're on HALO 5.0
Follow the HALO 5.0 documentation for every part of your setup.
If you're on HALO 4.x (or earlier)
Follow the HALO 5.0 documentation for every part of your setup except for layout design.
Layouts don't sync to HALO 4.x, so you'll design yours in the in-app Design Panel — the layout tools inside the HALO app on your iPad. See the HALO Graphic Design Guide for sizing specs and steps.
