Simple Booth for iPad supports using a clicker that sends a volume plus signal to initiate the photo countdown instead of tapping the screen.

Here is one we have used:

Note: Not all bluetooth remotes will work with our apps.

Settings Limitations

The following "pre-capture" adjustments require participants to interact with the iPad's screen before taking their photo(s). If you'd prefer to minimize interaction with the iPad before capture, these settings should be avoided.

  • Layout Chooser

Enabling the choose layout feature will prompt participants to pick between four layouts after they “tap to start.”

These layouts currently include a Single 1x1, GIF, Live GIF, and Rebound. We hope to introduce more options in the future!

  • Background Replacement

If you plan to offer just one background replacement option, that will automatically apply to all of your pictures.

If you plan to offer multiple choices for the background replacement, participants will be prompted to pick their background before they capture their photos.

  • Age Gate

We'll prompt participants to enter their age, and if they are not of the required age they will be prevented from taking a picture.
