Information about our extended care plan

This information applies to Simple Care plans purchased after September 6, 2024. If you purchased Simple Care prior to this date, contact us at support@simplebooth.com for details about your coverage.


The Simple Care Protection Plan can be added on to the purchase of HALO kit and offers the following benefits:

  • $299

  • Extends the standard product warranty to two years

  • Covers repair or replacement of the HALO body or stand for up to 2 incidents from accidental damage or general wear and tear

  • Offers 50% off replacement parts or faceplate upgrades (if you need to change to a different iPad, for example)

Simple Care can only be added at the time of purchase for new HALOs.

Coverage Details

Damage to your HALO body and stand during your first two years is covered, up to two incidents. We will repair the damage or replace the entire unit.

Types of covered damage include:

  • Accidents (such as drops or falls)

  • Wear and tear

  • Defects (under the extended product warranty)

Natural disasters and theft are not covered under Simple Care. These situations are typically covered under business insurance policies.

iPads are not covered under Simple Care—they come with their own warranty from Apple and we recommended considering AppleCare+ for added protection.

The most common HALO repair is damage to the ring light, which requires sending the unit in to our service center, and is a $300 cost plus shipping. In this situation, one incident covers the cost of Simple Care.

Ground shipping is complimentary under Simple Care. You can always upgrade to expedited shipping for the difference between the expedited rate and the ground rate.

For some minor issues, we are able to send a replacement part or DIY kit with instructions on how to fix the issue.

Repair Process Overview

  1. Contact our team by emailing support@simplebooth.com.

  2. We will provide a repair request form to fill out that includes questions about the damage and when you need your booth back.

  3. We'll review your repair request and follow up with any questions.

  4. Once your repair invoice has been paid we will send you a shipping label.

  5. The average turnaround time once your repair is received is 1-2 weeks. We perform a multi-point inspection on every unit to make sure it's in top shape.

  6. Your HALO is boxed up and you'll receive tracking for the return shipment.

Replacement Part Discount

Simple Care offers 50% off replacement parts and faceplates during the two year period.

Common parts include items like the iPad face plate, power cord, or grip head.

Additionally, upgrading your iPad and faceplate can keep your HALO up-to-date with the latest iPad technology and makes sure our newest and most advanced features can run smoothly.
