In some situations, you may need to share your booth settings or license access with another person.
When Should You Share?
Sharing licenses or settings can help streamline operations and improve event security. A few common use cases include:
Centralizing billing under one account, then assigning licenses to other accounts (ideal for multi-region teams or departments)
Preventing confusion by sharing presets to separate accounts for each event
Collaborating with graphic designers or teammates who need editing access
Supporting high-volume or multi-venue activations more efficiently
License Sharing
A valid license is required to launch events using the HALO app. Licenses can be assigned to and removed from other accounts as needed.
Granting Access to a License
Make sure the person has created and verified their Simple Booth account
Go to your Licenses page
Check the box next to the license you want to share
Select "Assign" from the actions menu
Enter the recipient’s email address
Click “Go” – the license is now active on their account
Revoking License Access
Return to your Licenses page
Check the box next to the license you want to take back
Choose "Unassign" from the actions menu
Click “Go” – the license returns to your account and becomes usable immediately
Settings Sharing
You can also share a preset and its linked gallery with another account for collaboration or setup purposes.
Sharing a Preset
Visit your Preset page and open the preset you want to share
Click the “Share” button in the top-right corner
Enter the recipient’s email address
Click “Share”
Choose whether to grant edit access
📍 Only share edit access with people familiar with Simple Booth settings—avoid giving edit rights to clients or booth attendants.
Sharing A Gallery
The original gallery paired with your preset will remain connected—even when used on another account
If you grant edit access, the recipient will be able to access the gallery and modify its settings from their own dashboard
If edit access is not granted, the gallery settings will not be visible to them
Revoking Settings Access
Visit your Preset page and open the preset
Click the “Share” button in the top-right corner
Use the red “X” button next to the account(s) you want to remove
Click “Done”
