The outbound email that is sent along with your guest’s picture can be customized to varying degrees, depending on which HALO plan you are on.

Note: Simple Booth Classic (formerly Event Edition) and the HALO Special Event plan do not include email customization.

HALO Lite

Emailing from HALO Lite is simple and straightforward. Enter the name of the person or organization you want to give your photo credit to. Typically, it makes most sense to enter the name of the event host.

You can also update the name of the event.

Email address

HALO Lite emails will be sent through our server from the default email address, "no-reply@simplebooth.com."

HALO Standard and Pro

Emails from HALO Standard and Pro tiers can be fully customized. These emails will appear in plain text, and if you’d like you can customize further using HTML.

Email address customization

HALO Standard and Pro support a custom outbound email address. This involves authorizing Simple Booth to send emails on behalf of your domain by updating some settings on your domain registrar. Learn more about how to accomplish that here!

Note: HALO will default to sending emails through our server from the email address, "no-reply@simplebooth.com" until you are able to set this up properly.

HTML

Simple Booth allows you to use HTML in the email body and has placeholders that allows you to do things like embed a thumbnail of the photo or customize a button that links to the gallery.

HTML doesn't have to be complicated at all--you can be as simple or as detailed as you would like! There are some good resources online to teach you more about HTML if you're interested, but we'll fill you in on some basics below.
